Terms & Conditions

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform.
• You must have a valid Indian mobile number for OTP verification.
• Employers must be registered businesses, shops, schools, clinics, or individuals hiring for genuine roles.
• By using the platform, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.

• Each mobile number can be registered as either one Candidate account or one Employer account.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Do not share your OTP or account access with others.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

• Your profile information (name, skills, experience, location) must be accurate and up-to-date.
• Do not create fake or misleading profiles.
• You may apply to jobs listed on the platform at no charge.
• Contact requests from employers are entirely optional — you are never obligated to accept.
• Misusing the platform (e.g., using it for purposes other than job seeking) may result in account suspension.
• Do not use the platform to collect employer information for non-job-related purposes.

• All job postings must be for genuine, legal employment opportunities.
• Do not post jobs that are misleading, fraudulent, discriminatory, or illegal under Indian law.
• Contact requests can only be sent to candidates who match your posted job requirements.
• You may not attempt to contact candidates through means outside the platform's consent mechanism without their approval.
• Subscription credits (for contact unlocks) are non-refundable once used.
• Posting adult content, MLM schemes, pyramid schemes, or jobs requiring payment from candidates is strictly prohibited.

The contact unlock feature is central to our platform:

• Employers must use a paid contact request credit to request a candidate's contact details.
• The candidate receives a notification and has full control to Accept or Reject.
• If the candidate does not respond within 7 days, the request expires and the credit is not refunded.
• Misusing the contact system (e.g., harassment, spam after unlock) will result in immediate account ban.

• All payments are processed securely via Razorpay.
• Subscription plans are billed in advance and are non-refundable unless required by law.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST.
• Failed payments will result in loss of premium features. You will be notified to renew.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers are not affected until renewal.

You must not use this platform to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the platform
• Attempt to hack, exploit, or interfere with platform systems
• Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes
• Impersonate another person or organisation
• Violate any applicable Indian or international law

All content on this platform — including logos, design, code, and text — is the property of Local Job Sathi and protected by Indian copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written permission.

By posting content (job listings, profile information), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform.

• Local Job Sathi acts as an intermediary marketplace and does not guarantee employment outcomes.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of job postings or candidate profiles.
• We are not liable for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from interactions between candidates and employers.
• Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the amount paid by that user in the preceding 3 months.

• You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your account without notice for violating these terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
• Paid subscription amounts are non-refundable upon self-termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

We encourage users to first attempt resolution through our support team at support@localjobsathi.com before initiating legal proceedings.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via SMS or platform notification at least 14 days in advance.
